ROME Energy, Inc is now Tru Power, Inc.

ROME Energy has rebranded the company with a name change to Tru Power, Inc. The new name reflects the emphasis on a naturally sustaining energy source that is the core element in Tru Power solutions- tritium.

Tritium is present in the environment in trace amounts but is also produced as a byproduct of nuclear energy power generation. It is a natural element with a half-life of 12+ years. Tritium does not require mining. It is already available and stored at nuclear facilities, anddoes not generate the environmental risks present in lithium.Tritium is already proven as a safe energy source and is used in lighting applications. The light source does not require electricity or electrical wiring, making it ideal for exit signs, emergency lighting in commercial buildings and airplanes and for airport runway lights. Tritium is also used as a tracer in biomedical and academic research.

The new name communicates the strength and longevity of tritium as a natural power source that can be harnessed for commercial applications requiring continuous power and reliability. Since this is a slowly decaying element, it is “always on” and provides a reliable energy source for essential, time critical, mission critical, and other environments that are extreme and/or remote.
